DIYPT/13: Emotional expression.

Being able to identify and name whatever emotional feelings being felt at any particular point in time is very important irrespective of the age or stage you're in. We are all emotional beings and we relate as such. having a space to express these feelings and emotions is equally important as well as understanding that for every behavioural issue there is emotional underlining to it. As parents, it is our job to teach and encourage our children in developing this all-important skill of identifying, naming and expressing their emotions in a safe space within the comfort of our homes.
